Dr. Justin Chapman, DDS, MAGD

Dr. Chapman was raised in Merced.  He was very active in local sports, especially basketball.  He attended the prestigious University of the Pacific undergraduate program in Stockton and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.   He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree at the distinguished Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.  The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry is renowned for providing its graduates a well-rounded dental education and extensive clinical experience.  He excelled in his education there, receiving many accolades and graduating with Honors.  He is an active member in the Yosemite Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

After completing his education, Dr. Chapman decided to return to Merced and provide dental care to the community that he was raised in.  He began his dental career working in a private practice in 2001, and became owner of this same practice in 2004. His practice uses integrated software and modern dental equipment so you can be assured that you are receiving high quality dental care.  He finds great satisfaction in seeing his patients excited about their dental experiences.  He is passionate about the art and science of dentistry.  In 2011, he received the rare and prestigious award of Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) after completing a rigorous course of over 1100 hours of continuing education in all aspects of dentistry.  That same year he also became a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).  He loves to get to know his patients and he treats them as if they were his own family.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chapman enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  He has two children and enjoys watching them excel in their sports and scholastic activities.  Dr. Chapman has coached his son's soccer and basketball teams, and when there is extra time, reading and trips to the movies are always welcome.  He believes that the greatest legacy he can impart to his children is time well spent with family.
